Hyderabad: Minister for Tourism Jupally Krishna Rao presented Telangana's tourism policy, which he described as exceptionally conducive to attracting investors and fostering an unparalleled environment for India's hospitality industry.

Speaking at the 20th South Asia Hotels Investment Conference at Powai Lake in Mumbai on Thursday, the Minister encouraged investment opportunities within Telangana's tourism sector, emphasising the state’s commitment to development through a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) approach.

He assured potential investors that they would receive substantial incentives, concessions, and comprehensive governmental support to enhance tourism development.

During a targeted meeting with representatives from prominent hotels and travel firms, Minister Jupally outlined initiatives aimed at positioning Telangana as a premier destination for both domestic and international tourists.

He mentioned that the state's updated tourism policy aims to promote various types of tourism, including temple, adventure, eco, heritage, medical, and wellness tourism to draw in more visitors.

"By the year 2030, Telangana is setting its sights on attracting Rs15,000 crore in investments, generating 3 lakh jobs, doubling its tourism growth, and achieving a place among the top five Indian states for tourist arrivals," stated Jupally.

The Minister reiterated the government's dedication to these objectives, aiming to establish Telangana as a center for tourism innovation and opportunities.
